If necessary, you can combine one or more requests into a single request. This can be done, for example, if you receive two support requests for the same issue from the same user.
To merge, open the request you want to merge and click the corresponding button:
After that a window will open where you can enter the number or name of the request you wish to merge with the current one:
The main request will open with the content (responses/comments) of the merged applications and the merge information will be displayed in the audit:
It is also possible to merge requests from the common list. To do this, select the requests you want to merge and click the button:
Additional features of the functionality:
- after combining conditional requests A (main) and B (to be merged), request B goes to the cart and is blocked. Accordingly, in order to return the request, it is necessary to restore it from the recycle bin and unblock it. If a user does not have access to the request, then when trying to open request B, he/she is redirected to the main request A;
- when merging several requests, their contents (replies/comments) are duplicated to the main request;
- merging requests cannot be canceled. However, you can unlock and restore merged requests from the request.
